AmiKha Consulting specializes in providing grant writing, grant research, funding strategy development, grant preparedness, and funder cultivation and relationship-building support to nonprofits that are advancing gender justice, human rights, democracy, and social change.

Helping social justice nonprofits access more grants and advance social change advocacy.

Our team has 30 years of combined experience in grant writing for gender justice and human rights-focused nonprofits and has secured over $15 million in funding for the social justice movement in the US and internationally.

We work with U.S-based social justice nonprofits and NGOs in the Majority World (Global South) that are addressing the systemic and intentional oppression of the most marginalized populations.

Access to funding to advance gender justice, human rights, and social change doesn’t have to depend on a nonprofit's size or location.

We can be the grants department for your nonprofit for 12 months supporting you to access more grants with an efficient grant revenue stream for your organization.

By working with AmiKha Consulting, your nonprofit’s leadership will have more time to focus on the most essential work: scaling impact and advancing social change while we handle grants.

“AmiKha Consulting was an excellent resource for us for a very large international grant application we were applying for. I appreciated Isatou and her team's ability to distill the breadth of our organization's work, translate our materials, delegate tasks for our team to complete, and create an excellent proposal under a strict timeline.

Isatou is not only an excellent grant writer but is very efficient and skilled, and has broad experiences with racial and gender justice organizations. She knows exactly what specific funders need and supports our team in meeting those needs accordingly.”

“Working with AmiKha Consulting, we got clearer on how to communicate the needs of our organization to funders, the key gaps in the AAPI funding landscape, and the gaps our organization is filling. The grant writing process was iterative and thorough, which we appreciated.
